Army Pharma Ltd. is a state-owned pharmaceuticals manufacturing and marketing company. The organization started it’s journey on June 2019 under the Bangladesh Machine Tools Factory Limited. It is a completely new pharmaceuticals project under the supervision of Bangladesh Army.
Initially, we have selected 3 (Three) production units. These are as follows: General production unit for Oral Solid Dosage form of Drugs (OSD), Parenteral drugs, and a dedicated and separate unit for Cephalosporin products. Project profile of Army Pharma Ltd. has been approved by Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA) of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. It has been registered from the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms (RJSC). Bangladesh Investment Development Authority has (BIDA) also approved the investment plan. Chief of Army Staff is the Chairman & Managing Director of BMTF Ltd. is the Managing Director of Army Pharma Ltd. Army Pharma Ltd. has appointed European GMP consultant named “Elomatic Pharmalab Consulting & Engineering Pvt. Ltd.”, a Finland based leading engineering and consulting company, with a vow to achieve cGMP manufacturing license from Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA) & international accreditation as well.
