Polyethylene Glycol + Propylene Glycol
Generic MedicineDescription
This sterile ophthalmic solution contains Polyethylene Glycol and Propylene Glycol, which help relieve dry and irritated eyes. It keeps the eyes moist, helps protect them from injury and infection, and reduces symptoms such as burning, itching, and foreign body sensation.
Pharmacology
The combination of Polyethylene Glycol 400 and Propylene Glycol is clinically proven to reduce both the signs and symptoms of dry eye. Its mechanism of action is based on a unique lubricating and gelling system that adjusts according to each user’s individual tear pH. When the ingredients of these eye drops mix with natural tears, they form a soft protective gel over the eye surface. This protective layer helps maintain a healthy environment on the ocular surface, allowing damaged surface cells of the eye to heal more easily.

Instill 1 drop 4 times daily in the affected eye(s) or as needed.
