Cetrimide is a quaternary ammonium antiseptic with bactericidal activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Chlorhexidine is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, as well as yeasts, dermatophyte fungi, and lipophilic viruses.
Dosage Administration
Adult and children: Apply 2–3 times daily or as directed.

Contraindications
Not to be used in the eyes, ears, mucous membranes, or body cavities.
Side Effects
Frequent or prolonged use may cause skin irritation.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Pregnancy Category C. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, and there are no adequate, well-controlled studies in humans. However, the potential benefits may justify use during pregnancy despite possible risks.
Precautions & Warnings
Prolonged or repeated use may increase the risk of hypersensitivity reactions. The presence of blood, soap, cotton, or other organic materials may reduce its antibacterial effectiveness.
