Sucralose + Acesulfame Potassium
Generic MedicinePharmacology
Suito is a non-caloric sweetener. Most of the ingested Suito is not metabolized by the body and therefore provides no calories. It contains Sucralose and Acesulfame Potassium, which are approximately 600 times and 200 times sweeter than sucrose (table sugar), respectively. Sucralose is about 3 times sweeter than aspartame, while Acesulfame Potassium has sweetness similar to aspartame. These two sweeteners are blended to provide a more sugar-like taste, as each component masks the aftertaste of the other and produces a synergistic effect, making the blend sweeter than its individual components. Suito is stable under heat and remains effective over a wide range of pH conditions.
