Generic MedicineComposition
Each gram of gel contains: Diclofenac Diethylamine 0.0116 g, Mephenesin 0.05 g, Menthol 0.02 g, Methyl Salicylate 0.05 g, Turpentine Oil 0.03 g.
Pharmacology
Diclofenac Diethylamine, Mephenesin, Menthol, Methyl Salicylate, and Turpentine Oil work together to reduce pain and muscle soreness, relieve itching, and provide relief from musculoskeletal aches, joint pain, and other painful inflammatory conditions.
Dosage Administration
Depending on the size of the area to be treated, 2-4 gm of this gel should be applied to the skin 3-4 times daily to the affected area and rubbed in lightly.
Contraindications
This gel is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients. It should also not be used in the following conditions: Children below 12 years of age, Cuts or open wounds, Infected skin.
Side Effects
The most commonly reported side effects of this gel are itching, blisters, allergic contact dermatitis, anaphylactic reactions, pruritus, and rash.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended.
Precautions & Warnings
This gel should not come into contact with the eyes or mucous membranes. Hands should be washed after application unless the hands themselves are the area being treated. For external use only. Do not swallow.
