This preparation cream contains Medilan, a medical-grade, highly purified, hypoallergenic form of lanolin. It is perfume-free and non-greasy. Suitable for the whole family including babies and children.

This cream has been clinically proven to treat and soothe dry, itchy, flaky, chapped, rough, and calloused skin. It is also used for sunburn and detergent-induced hand irritation. Its non-greasy formula leaves the skin soft and relieved.

It is also used in more severe dry skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, ichthyosis, and dry cases of psoriasis.

This cream contains:

• White Soft Paraffin BP 14.5% w/w
• Light Liquid Paraffin BP 12.6% w/w
• Lanolin Anhydrous BP 1% w/w

Adults, the elderly, children and infants over the age of 1 month: apply to the affected part two or three times daily. Use this medicine only on the skin. Do not use near the mouth, inner nose, eyes, genital area or on broken skin.

The absorption of topical minoxidil may be increased with concurrent use of topical soft paraffin. This may enhance the hypotensive effects of vasodilators.

Occasionally, allergic reactions or worsening of acne may occur. Hypersensitivity reactions are rare; otherwise adverse effects are unlikely. If such reactions occur, the product should be discontinued.

Pregnancy: Considered safe in pregnancy. Systemic exposure to white soft paraffin, liquid paraffin, and lanolin anhydrous is negligible; therefore no harmful effects are expected. However, it should be used with caution during pregnancy.

Breast-feeding: It is unknown whether these components are excreted in human milk. A risk to newborns/infants cannot be excluded. Application on the breast is not recommended during breastfeeding.

• If rash develops, discontinue use.
• Do not smoke or go near naked flames due to risk of severe burns. Clothing, bedding, or dressings in contact with the product may catch fire more easily and pose a serious fire hazard.
• Do not apply to mucous membranes or broken skin.

This cream has low toxicity. If accidental ingestion occurs, only supportive and conservative treatment is required. No cases of overdose have been reported.
