This medicine is used for:
This preparation contains a dual-action formula with a mild laxative and a lubricant. It works by softening stool and making bowel movements easier, reducing discomfort caused by straining. It is recommended for short-term relief of constipation.
The recommended oral dose are as follows
Adults: 15–30 ml before breakfast or at bedtime.
Children:
The dose may be mixed with milk or half a glass of water if desired. Don't take for more than 1 week unless under doctor's supervision.
Cimetidine, Diuretics, Famotidine and Ranitidine may cause irritation of stomach or bowel.
Acute GI conditions like abdominal pain.
Rectal irritation, potassium loss (thirst, weakness, nausea and diarrhea).
Can be given to pregnant and lactating mother.
Renal and hepatic impairment. Maintain adequate fluid intake.
There are no reported cases of overdosage.
