This combination ointment is indicated for the treatment of superficial skin injuries such as burns, scalds, sunburn, wounds, and abrasions.

Each gram ointment contains:

• Malic Acid BP 7 mg
• Benzoic Acid BP 0.5 mg
• Salicylic Acid BP 0.133 mg

This ointment acts as a disinfectant, relieves pain, and promotes faster wound healing. It helps in the removal of dead tissue from the wound surface while simultaneously supporting the formation of new, healthy tissue. Due to its special composition, the product has an antiseptic effect, maintains proper fluid balance, and aids the healing process in multiple ways. Consult a doctor if your condition does not improve or worsens after 10 days.

Apply this ointment to the wound or damaged skin several times daily. The period of use depends on how quickly your wound is healing.

Use in Children: This ointment is not recommended for use in new-born babies

No hazardous interactions with other medicines have been reported.

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients is a contraindication. Precautions: Talk to your doctor before using Reskin ointment. If you have extensive wounds or burns, consult your doctor. If you have an ulcer, a bed sore, or are preparing for a skin transplant, you must consult a doctor. Patients with impaired kidney function should avoid using Reskin ointment over large areas of the body for long periods. Reskin ointment must not come into contact with mucous membranes, especially around the eyes and mouth. Wash your hands after use.

Immune system disorders: Very rare: An unknown allergic hypersensitivity reaction (contact sensitization) to salicylic acid may occur.
General disorders and application site conditions: Common: Upon application, Reskin ointment may cause a transient sensation of warmth, followed by rapid and lasting pain relief. Rare: Mild erythema or urticarial rash may occur on healthy tissue immediately around the treated wound area.

Use of this ointment is generally possible during pregnancy and breastfeeding. During these periods, Reskin ointment should only be used on small areas. During breastfeeding, this ointment should not be applied on the breast area.

Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from light. Keep out of reach of children. After opening, do not use for more than 6 months.
