These eye drops are used for the treatment of lens opacification.

Each ml of sterile eye drops contains:

• Adenosine BP 2 mg
• Cytochrome-C Ph. Gr. 0.5 mg
• Sodium Succinate Ph. Gr. 0.6 mg
• Nicotinamide BP 10 mg

Preservative: Thiomersal 0.005%

Cytochrome C participates in oxidative phosphorylation, helping generate ATP from ADP. Sodium Succinate, an intermediate compound, enhances ATP production. Adenosine plays a crucial role in supplying energy necessary for lens functions, including glutathione synthesis, ion and amino acid transport, and the formation of DNA, RNA, and nucleic acids. Nicotinamide contributes to the formation of ATP and NADPH, which help protect cells from oxidative damage and free radicals by maintaining glutathione in its reduced state.

One drop into the affected eye twice daily.

To prevent possible interactions with other medications, inform your doctor about any ongoing treatments, especially the use of other eye drops.

This eye drop should not be used in individuals who are allergic to any of its components.

As with any medication, some patients may experience mild to moderate discomfort. If any unusual symptoms occur, consult your doctor.

It is advisable to consult your doctor before using this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Do not inject or swallow this medicine. If using other eye solutions at the same time, maintain at least a 15-minute gap between applications.

Accidental ingestion is unlikely to cause toxicity due to the low concentration of active ingredients.

Store below 25°C and protect from light. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination. Do not use the medicine after one month of opening the bottle.
