Cream: This combined preparation is indicated for temporary relief of minor aches and pains of muscles and joints associated with backache, lumbago, strains, bruises, sprains, arthritis, rheumatic pain, and pain of tendons and ligaments. Clinical studies have demonstrated that the combination of Methyl Salicylate and Menthol is effective in relieving minor musculoskeletal pain and arthritis-related discomfort.

Nasal Inhaler Stick: Indicated for relief of nasal congestion or blocked nose.

• Menthol BP 100 mg
• Camphor BP 40 mg

• Wintergreen Oil (as Methyl Salicylate) 122.70 mg
• Mentha piperita (as Menthol) 415.40 mg
• Cinnamomum camphora (as Camphor) 415.40 mg

Cream: Each ingredient in this combination contributes to pain relief through different mechanisms. Camphor exhibits spasmolytic activity on smooth muscles by reducing calcium influx, thereby decreasing muscle contraction and relieving muscle spasm. It also increases the pain threshold, reducing the perception of pain signals reaching the brain. Menthol produces a cooling and soothing effect by stimulating cold receptors in the skin, which helps in reducing pain. Methyl Salicylate is converted to salicylic acid in the body and inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, leading to reduced prostaglandin synthesis and decreased inflammation and pain.

Nasal Inhaler Stick: Menthol acts as a decongestant, helping to relieve nasal blockage and soothe irritation of the nose and throat. Camphor also works as a decongestant and has mild cough suppressant properties. Wintergreen oil provides mild antiseptic action, helping to reduce microbial presence and relieve discomfort.

Cream:
Adults and Children 2 years of age and older: Apply generously to the painful area and gently massage until the cream disappears. Apply to affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily. If condition worsens, or if symptoms persist for more than 7 days or clear-up and occur again within a few days, discontinue use of this product and consult a doctor.

Children below 2 years of age: Sufficient data is not available for use of this product in children below 2 years of age.

Nasal Inhaler Stick:
Adults and children over 12 years: Used by inserting the inhaler into each nostril, holding the other nostril closed and inhaling deeply. It can be used as frequently as needed.

Methyl Salicylate is absorbed through the skin in measurable amounts and may potentiate the effect of Warfarin by interfering with vitamin K metabolism or by displacing Warfarin from protein-binding sites.

Cream: Contraindicated in patients with bleeding disorders, hypersensitivity to salicylates, or any component of the formulation. Application on broken or damaged skin is not recommended.

Nasal Inhaler Stick: Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or excipients. Not recommended for children below 12 years of age.

Cream: May cause local skin reactions such as irritation, redness, rash, or itching, especially in sensitive individuals.

Nasal Inhaler Stick: Temporary burning, stinging sensation, dryness of the nasal mucosa, and sneezing may occur.

This medication should be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding only if clearly necessary.

For external use only. Use strictly as directed. Do not use with a heating pad. Keep out of reach of children to prevent accidental poisoning. Do not apply with tight bandages. Do not swallow. If accidentally ingested, induce vomiting and seek medical attention immediately. Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, and broken or irritated skin. Discontinue use and consult a physician if skin irritation or redness occurs, pain persists for more than 10 days, or if used in children under 12 years with arthritis-like symptoms. Prolonged or excessive use may cause skin irritation and redness; therefore, use according to recommended dosage. Use with caution in patients with impaired kidney or liver function and in young children.
