This ear drop contains the following active ingredients:

• Clotrimazole — 1% w/v
• Beclomethasone — 0.025% w/v
• Chloramphenicol — 5% w/v
• Lidocaine — 2% w/v

This combination works through multiple mechanisms to treat ear infections:

• Lidocaine: A local anesthetic that blocks nerve signal transmission, providing rapid pain relief.
• Beclomethasone: A corticosteroid that reduces inflammation by inhibiting the release of inflammatory mediators such as prostaglandins.
• Clotrimazole: An antifungal agent that inhibits fungal growth by disrupting cell membrane formation.
• Chloramphenicol: A broad-spectrum antibiotic that prevents bacterial protein synthesis, thereby inhibiting bacterial growth.

Use 2 or 3 drops in the affected ear 2 to 3 times a day for 7 to 14 days

• Otitis Externa: From 6 months & older.
• Otitis Media: From 12 years & older.

The following adverse effects may occur due to the combined ingredients of this ear drop. This is not a complete list, and these effects may not occur in all patients. Some reactions may be rare but serious. Seek medical advice if any of the following symptoms persist or worsen:

• Skin inflammation
• Irritation
• Itchy rash
• Blister formation
• Peeling or scaling of the skin
• Local discomfort

Before using this medication, inform your doctor about all current medicines (including over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, and herbal products), allergies, existing diseases, and current health conditions (such as pregnancy or planned surgery).

Certain conditions may increase the risk of side effects. Use the medication exactly as prescribed or as directed in the product instructions. Dosage depends on the patient’s condition. Inform your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen.

Important advice:

• Apply to the affected area two to three times daily as directed
• Avoid repeated or prolonged use without medical advice
• Avoid situations that may cause injury or bruising
• Monitor for signs of bacterial infection
• Be cautious in patients with cataracts
• Monitor blood sugar levels if required
