Pharmacology
Vitamin A plays an essential role in retinal function and is necessary for growth and differentiation of epithelial tissue.
Vitamin B complex is involved in the synthesis and maintenance of coenzyme A and is essential for lipid and carbohydrate metabolism, tissue respiration, glycogen breakdown, and inhibition of very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) synthesis. It may also enhance removal of chylomicron triglycerides from plasma.
Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) is required for normal erythropoiesis, nucleoprotein and myelin synthesis, cell reproduction, and growth. It requires intrinsic factor for absorption from the gastrointestinal tract and plays a role in tissue respiration and activation of pyridoxine, as well as conversion of tryptophan to niacin.
Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant and protects essential cellular components.
Vitamin C is necessary for collagen formation and tissue repair and participates in oxidation-reduction reactions and metabolic pathways including synthesis of catecholamines, carnitine, and steroids. It also assists in conversion of folic acid to folinic acid.
Vitamin D3 is a fat-soluble sterol required for regulation of calcium and phosphate balance and bone mineralization. It enhances calcium absorption from the gastrointestinal tract and promotes bone formation. Clinical studies show that calcium and vitamin D have synergistic effects on bone growth and help prevent osteoporosis and fractures.

Below 1 year: 9-10 drops (0.3 ml)
