Vitamins and minerals are essential for normal metabolic functions including hematopoiesis. Vitamin B-complex components act as coenzymes in carbohydrate, fat, and protein metabolism. Vitamin C supports tissue repair and collagen formation. Vitamin A is essential for vision and epithelial growth. Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant protecting cellular components. Vitamin D is required for calcium regulation and bone health. Iron, copper, magnesium, and zinc act as enzyme cofactors essential for vital cellular processes.

Dosage Administration

Orally one tablet daily for adult and children over 5 years of age or as directed by the physicians.

Contraindications

This is contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to any of its components. It is not intended for the treatment of severe specific deficiencies of vitamins or minerals. It is not recommended for patients receiving levodopa therapy, as pyridoxine reduces the efficacy of levodopa. During the first trimester of pregnancy, high doses of vitamin A (more than 10 tablets per day) may be teratogenic.

Side effects have been reported with specific vitamins and minerals, but usually at doses substantially higher than those present in this tablet. Iron may cause gastrointestinal discomfort in some patients.
