Betamethasone + Clotrimazole + Gentamicin

Generic Medicine
Indications

This combination cream is indicated for the treatment of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses that are complicated by bacterial and fungal infections. It is also effective in managing conditions such as tinea pedis, tinea cruris, tinea corporis, as well as acute and chronic eczema.

Composition

Each gram of cream contains:

  • Betamethasone Dipropionate USP 0.64 mg (equivalent to Betamethasone 0.5 mg)
  • Clotrimazole USP 10 mg
  • Gentamicin Sulfate USP 1.693 mg (equivalent to Gentamicin 1 mg)
Pharmacology

This cream combines the anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive effects of betamethasone dipropionate with the broad-spectrum antifungal activity of clotrimazole and the bactericidal action of gentamicin sulfate.
