Betamethasone Dipropionate + Salicylic Acid
Generic MedicinePharmacology
Betamethasone dipropionate is a glucocorticoid with potent anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive effects. Salicylic acid possesses keratolytic properties and is used topically to treat hyperkeratotic conditions by softening and removing the outer layer of the skin. This action enhances the penetration of corticosteroids into the skin. The combined effect of these agents helps reduce inflammation, relieve itching, and improve skin condition through anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive actions.
