Supreme Pharmaceuticals Ltd (SPL) was established in 2003 through the take-over of APCCO Limited (established in 1979) with 80 formulations of various essential drugs in the market and 70 more in the pipeline for launching.
Supreme Pharmaceuticals Limited (SPL) is registered as a private limited company (PLC) with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms, Dhaka.
The management of SPL shifted the company’s production facilities to their own high land (9 acres) in Polashbari, Dhamsona, Savar (30 km north-west of Dhaka) from Mirpur Industrial Estate, with a vision of setting up a cGMP and ISO standard company. The company is committed to fulfill the local demand with its quality products and then spread its wings overseas, thus boosting up the national economy. The production site is being built with all essential and adequate infrastructure and environmental facilities so that it can meet the obligations of cGMP, ISO, UNICEF, WHO and FDA.
Supreme Pharmaceuticals Limited (SPL) has already achieved GMP certification. SPL continued its expansion and upgradation of its production facilities conforming to cGMP prescribed by WHO and by some leading companies to US FDA and UK MHRA standards. One of the objectives of the Promoters of the Company is to qualify as an exporter of medicine and bulk drugs through compliance to cGMP and FDA obligations of international system.
